Finding the right style of bath
Choosing a suitable bath for your new bathroom will depend a lot on the Size and style of your bathroom. If you have lots of space to play with and are looking for something modern, then current trends would suggest that a freestanding design would be best for you.
The market has really opened up recently with some fantastic designs of freestanding baths appearing with free-flowing curves and futuristic looking shapes and colours. A particular favourite over the past few months has been the best-selling F-210 bath.
This model has proved to be so popular that demand was out stripping supply and manufacturing has had to be increasing to cope with demand from customers who appreciate the style and fantastic appeal of this bath. The Aquacast freestanding baths utilise the latest industry technology to outperform conventional cast-iron, acrylic and mineral composite baths. Used for many years in Germany, these freestanding baths exceed international standards for impact, stain, and load bearing. Unlike some freestanding baths that are single layered, these baths utilise exclusive Solid State stonecast-resin, dual-layered with 6mm of specialised Aqua-acrylic. Another freestanding model of bath that proves popular with those looking for extra space (or for sharing!) is the Luxury-Edwardian-roll-top-bath.
For a more traditional style of bath, mainly used in smaller bathrooms where space is at a premium, choose either a rectangle bath or a shower bath. Rectangle baths are historically installed in the corner of your bathroom with a side and end panel attached, however these baths can look great boxed in and tiled around the sides or can even be used as a freestanding option dropped into a built-in enclosure for a more attractive finish.
